Have you ever been going through your day, when all of a sudden your energy crashes and it feels like you have hit a wall? What do you do to get your energy back? For many of us, the first thought might be to grab a soda, cup of coffee or energy drink for that quick pick-me-up. We need our energy back and we want it now!
The good news is that there is a quick, easy, natural way to boost your energy without experiencing all the negative side effects of caffeine or sugar. And, yes, I do enjoy my morning cup of coffee. But over the last several years I have reduced my caffeine intake and switched to Energy Medicine to keep my energy balanced.
One of the easiest energy balancing techniques that I have used over the past ten years is Donna Eden’s “Three Thumps.” This technique will quickly restore your energy, increase your focus and concentration, increase strength and vitality, and strengthen your immune system. This offers so many benefits in so little time. I use it every day, first thing in the morning, and throughout the day as needed.

Use several fingers to tap or rub vigorously where the symbols indicate in the picture below. During the tapping process focus on breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Thump 2 (Thymus) – This point (Lavender triangle) is located at the center of your sternum. Using the fingers of one or both hands tap for fifteen or twenty seconds.
Thump 3 (Spleen Points) – Tap the points (Green squares) beneath the breast and down one rib, for fifteen seconds. Then tap the points (Green arrows) located on the side of the body about four inches down from the arm pits, for fifteen seconds. Notice if either set of points is more tender and use these points in the future.
Why not try it and see for yourself. As with any energy technique this process has a cumulative effect and you will notice even greater results with consistent use.
So… the next time you begin to feel that midday slump, instead of reaching for another cup of coffee or a caffeinated soda why not try this simple natural technique to boost your energy. Your body will thank you!
